Procedure
  • Add 3 gallons cold water to 5 gallon stainless stockpot
  • Add 1lb Dingeman's Caramunich to muslin grain bag
  • Heat on high
  • Stirred in 6lbs Northern Brewer Amber Malt Extract Syrup
  • Added 1lb Munton's Spraymalt Extract Plain Light powder
  • Heated to 155 Degrees F
  • Removed from heat for 20 minutes
  • Remove muslin bag
  • Heat on high
  • Added 1 oz Norther Brewer pellet hops @ 9.8AAU @ 60 minutes
  • Added 1 oz Hallertauer pellet @ 4.2AAU @ 14 minutes
  • Removed from heat and cooled
  • Poured into fermentation bucket
  • Pitched 1 sachet Safale 04
  • Bottled September 14 @ 9.00pm
Fermentation
Primary: 18 days @ 75° F
Secondary: 14 days @ 72° F
